Glena Jarboe

Glena has more than 30 years’ of experience in compliance that spans a wide array of healthcare settings. She has been in healthcare compliance consulting since 2019.  Prior to consulting, Glena served as the director of compliance for a large academic medical center and in various clinical and leadership roles. During her tenure in academic medicine Glena had oversight of the six healthcare colleges of Dental, Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. She served as the compliance liaison between the colleges and executive leadership of healthcare. In addition to her academic medicine experience, Glena has helped organizations with their compliance needs, including development of risk-based assessments and mitigation through well-defined work plans.  She frequently develops and implements training and educational modules and co-authored an article that was published by the Health Care Compliance Association on a process she developed about enhancing or developing an internal department audit process.  She has worked closely with pain management groups advising and supporting them with process improvement that is unique to pain management. Throughout Glena’s professional career she has served as the director of compliance, university compliance manager, ambulatory clinic manager, dental quality assurance manager, multi-specialty dental practice manager, as well as serving as a committee member for various compliance, operational and regulatory groups.
